Situated at the end of a quiet street in excellent North Wilmington location, minutes from I-95. The woodsy lot is private yet convenient to local shopping and restaurants. 15 min to downtown Wilmington, 25 min to PHL airport, 30-40 min from Philadelphia. Perfect for families, friends or businesses travelers. On the front porch is a porch bed swing with pillows. This is a great place for morning coffee or to snuggle up with a book while getting fresh air. It’s large enough to cozy up with friends or family. Upon entering the house you’ll see the large, open kitchen and dining area. The large 8 foot island is the perfect gathering place while preparing meals together. The Kitchen Aid appliances include wall oven with microwave/convection combo, refrigerator, dishwasher and induction cooktop. There is a beautiful farmhouse style table in the dining room. The front living room has a large sectional with plenty of space for relaxing and watching TV. Beyond the kitchen you’ll find a second living room with a gas fireplace, couch, accent chairs and a rustic coffee table. This is the perfect place for conversation, games or puzzles! Our home has a first floor master with a king bed. There’s a beautiful dresser with mirror and a big, comfy chair in the corner. This is another quiet spot perfect for cozying up with a book. The first floor bathroom is a full bathroom with shower stall. Upstairs you’ll find the other 3 bedrooms with plenty of sleeping space! The teal bedroom has a custom loft bed with full mattress and a full bed on the other side of the room. Note that you’ll need to walk up a few steps to reach the elevated loft bed. The powder blue room also has a custom loft bed with a full bed on top and below. (Set up like a bunk bed). There is a few toys and an indoor swing for kids in this room. The lavender room has a queen bed. Upstairs also has a full bathroom with tub and new vanity. Out back you’ll find a patio with a small table and chairs. There’s a paved basketball court (not lined) with high and low baskets. There’s a small cedar playhouse sure to inspire the imagination! We hope you find everything you need for a comfortable stay in Wilmington! There is a large driveway for parking. It is fine to park on the street in front of the house. We are out of town traveling but we have a co-host locally. The house is in a small, quiet neighborhood. Very few cars come down the street which keeps it feeling nice and quiet. You’ll be able to access a path which leads to the local park. The park is full of amenities including a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, and walking path. It is common to see neighbors walking on the street with their dogs or children. The house is within minutes of nearby grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations etc. 15 minutes to downtown Wilmington 30-40 minutes to Philadelphia 1 hour to Baltimore 2 hours to Delaware Beaches 2 hours to Washington DC 3 hours to New York City Guests have access to entire house minus basement and garage.
