Seattle’s most popular park is a five minute walk from our remodeled basement apartment. Enjoy a private entrance, w/d, bathroom and kitchen as well as wifi and a pull out queen bed for extra guests. Great restaurants/pubs, grocery and amenities are all easily accessible on foot, with ample public transportation options for further exploration. If you are looking for a clean, convenient & comfortable place to recharge your batteries after exploring Seattle, look no further! The space The apartment is recently renovated and we've worked hard to ensure it's comfortable. The unit is completely self contained, meaning you'll have your own private space with a full size washer/dryer, full size kitchen with all everything needed to create a gourmet meal and bedroom/bathroom. Beyond having all required amenities, the apartment is situated in our basement. This is a good thing! In the summer the basement stays nice and cool (we have plenty of heaters to keep you warm in the winter) and it's quiet. After a long day exploring Seattle and the Puget Sound, you can relax in your comfy, quiet apartment! We have two children, and this apartment is definitely family friendly. If you are bringing little ones, let us know and we'll be able to provide a pack-and-play, toys, eating utensils and other basics. Let us know what you need - we probably have it. Guest access Guests have access to their own w/d, dedicated bedroom and bathroom and a full kitchen as well as a living area with a couch that pulls out into a queen bed. No other parts of the house are accessible, and we won't be in your space at all. Other things to note We have a lock box to enter the home and will send the code prior to arrival. Guests with pet allergies: We don't allow pets in the apartment. We have a cat, but he's not allowed in the unit, and we strive to keep the apartment clean and free of pet hair. Prior to listing on Airbnb, we rented the apartment for 10 years and we've had over 700 guests stay via Airbnb. We've only had one incident where a guest's child experienced allergic reactions in the apartment. The vast majority of people staying in our apartment have not experienced issues.
