Private Water Front Cottage Little Compton

Our country cottage had been completely updated in 2023. It has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and is on a private oasis located on the edge of Briggs Marsh, surrounded by preserved farmland and gentle ocean breezes. It is one of the most beautiful spots in all of Little Compton. It has a full kitchen, living room, washer and dryer, all new appliances, new beds, larger picture windows with two sliding doors onto decks with water views, indoor/outdoor showers, with mini split cooling and heating system. The space Check In: 3pm Check Out: 11am Directions: From the top of Quoquonset Lane follow the lane down about half a mile. Follow it down until you see the number 65 on the tree. Turn left through the stonewall entrance before the sign and follow the hedgerow downturn right through the stonewall gap to the property. Welcome to 67 Quoquonset Lane. The door will be unlocked when you arrive. Marsh Rules: If you bring up a kayak or canoe to take onto the marsh, be very sure not to dock onto the beach across the marsh in both directions! There are very strict rules with fines given out to protect the wildlife who habitat throughout the whole area. Trash: There are two brown trash cans located outside of the kitchen door. Throw all trash into those two brown trash bins and a trash person will come over once a week to empty them. Recycle: The blue trash can outside of the kitchen door is for recycling of cans and bottles only. All paper and cardboard recycling must be done separately and kept in a bag or box inside the house and put out on Fridays. Parking: When unloading the car, please feel free to pull right up to the house. On a regular basis, please park by the large pine tree just outside gap in the wall. Dog-Friendly: The cottage is a pet-friendly establishment. Every visit with us the cottage is professionally cleaned but the furniture can attract pet hair. Please be aware if you have any pet allergies. Please pick up and remove any pet waste if you bring your dog. Beaches: There is no direct access to a beach from here but you can go to South Shore, Lloyds beach located at Sakonnet Point and Tappen’s Beach reachable by foot or bicycle (limited bicycles access during the summer) down Round Pond Road. Windows and Doors: The weather changes rapidly. Please close all windows and doors when you leave the house to protect the inside from rain, mist, dew, etc. Please leave doors unlocked when you leave. Misc: We have a septic system so please no feminine products, wipes, paper towel, etc. down the toilet. No smoking inside the premises, please clean up any smoking debris from the outside. If anything breaks please replace them or contact owner. Please do not take anything from the premises or you will be charged for replacements.
