Enjoy Pure Michigan from the comforts of this private luxury 2-Bedroom Suite with a large shared deck The space You'll be steps away from the heart of Downtown Douglas and Wade's Bayou. The bathroom features a shower/tub combo stocked with plush bath towels. The vanity also features a lighted makeup mirror and many amenities are provided such as hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The unit has a coffee maker and a mini-fridge for your beverages. There is no kitchen in this unit! No kitchen sink and no stove!!!! Please note the unit has low ceilings and there are stairs inside the unit. The bathroom is located on the 1st floor and the bedrooms on the second floor. Walk to the best restaurants, browse the one-of-a-kind shops or simply take a walk down to the park at the end of the block and enjoy the spectacular water views. This unit has shared walls with two other units and the upstairs bedroom floors are the ceilings for a unit below. In respect of other guests, we cannot host guests with infants and the unit does not have space to accommodate a crib. While the unit is completely private, the outdoor patio/deck is visible from 2 other units and given the proximity of other units and the shared walls, we ask all guests to be extra courteous with respect to noise levels both inside and out. We do not allow pets on the property and cannot make exceptions due to the shared ventilation system. Don’t worry, you will have full control of your own temperature! No need to send us inquiries asking for early check-in, late checkout, exceptions to minimum night stay, pets or a discount, we are unable to offer or confirm any of these at this property. Check in is at 4pm and checkout at 1030am. We do our best to get guests in as soon as units are ready, but unfortunately that is rarely much before the time we advertise. As such, we are unable to offer late check-outs or the unit wouldn’t be ready by check-in time! Guest access Guests will enjoy this private unit with a private entrance in a building with multiple units. It offers 2 separate bedrooms and a common sitting area on the upper floor and a private bath with tub, mini fridge, and a HUGE outdoor shared patio deck on the lower level (ground floor). This unit does not have a kitchen/stove/kitchenette/bar sink/etc. and is most comparable to a 2 BR hotel room, only split over 2 floors. This unit not designed for cooking or preparing meals. Guests will also have access to complimentary shared laundry, Wi-Fi, and 49" Smart TV’s with Netflix subscription (no cable). One of my favorite things about this suite is that each bedroom has its own temperature control so each room can choose the temperature they are most comfortable. The only thing you will have to agree on is whether the combined system is in heating or cooling mode. Other things to note Kayak rental is just one block from the property and included in our guidebook. Unfortunately we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy, including the changing of dates- we are not a big corporation and rely on the income from bookings to pay the mortgage. If you anticipate potential health issues, weather concerns or other reasons you might not be able honor your reservation, consider purchasing travel insurance. We provide toilet paper to get you started but we do not provide an unlimited supply. If you run out doing your stay, you are responsible to go out and get more. Please do not message us asking for us to bring you more toilet paper.
