Walk to train, lake and downtown - pets welcome
This is the perfect place to relax and make a home for your visit to the Boston area. You'll be steps from the park, Lake Quannapowit, shops and restaurants and the train station. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed. Upon arrival, you'll find coffee, tea, eggs and butter. If you're bringing your furry family member, there will be dog bowls and poop-bags too. Dog bed and cat litter box available upon request. Our building was originally built in 1900 and while it has been nicely updated, you can still enjoy the high ceilings, steam heat and beautiful trim work that you only find in old homes. You'll also encounter floors on a slight slant and corners that aren't perfectly square. You'll sleep on 100% cotton sheets, ample pillows and covers on 12 inch mattresses. If needed the sofa can be converted into a bed. Extra bedding can be found in the living room closet. Lots of empty closet space and dresser drawers. No-contact entry with keys in lockbox. You are welcome to stow your luggage if you arrive before check-in (note that the cleaning crew may be there) just let me know ahead of time. This unit has 1 parking space on the driveway. I provide no-contact self-entry with a lockbox for safety during COVID. I live upstairs and am often in the building and am available when needed. Otherwise I plan to respect your privacy. This property is in the beautiful town of Wakefield, known for Lake Quannapowitt, one of the best places near Boston to take a stroll or to go for run or a bike ride. From the property you can walk to the lake, the commons as well as the shops, restaurants and cafes in minutes. A quick walk will get you to the Wakefield train station where you can hop on the T to Boston. Wakefield is a very friendly town with a lot of small local businesses. If you bring your pup, there is a neighborhood dog park. There is also a playground by the lake where you can take your kids to play. This unit includes 1 off-street parking spot big enough for small SUV or truck. Additionally street parking is readily available. For those who prefer not to drive, public transportation is nearby and of course there are tons of places you can walk to. I live upstairs with which makes me quickly available if needed. Most of all I respect your privacy. Please note that you may find my dogs on the premises as they are often in the fenced in yard. They are friendly, and really love to meet people and play with other dogs.
