The space Enjoy a peaceful stay in our modern studio apartment, located on our 14-acre property of open fields and wooded areas. The space offers everything you need for a comfortable getaway, whether you're traveling for work, relaxation, or family fun. Inside the Apartment The open-concept layout features a bright living and dining area, a fully stocked kitchen, and a cozy bedroom separated by a pocket door for privacy. The bedroom includes a queen-size bed with a memory foam mattress, and the bathroom- located on the bedroom side of the pocket door - offers radiant heated floors, a spacious shower with a handheld sprayer and built-in seat, plus complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The living room sofa converts into a comfortable bed. You’ll also find a Roku-equipped TV (just log in to your streaming accounts), high-speed internet for work or entertainment, a DVD player with a small collection of movies, and board games for quiet nights in. Kitchen Amenities The kitchen is stocked with everything you need: toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, crockpot, pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes, cups, knives, and storage containers. We also provide coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, a selection of spices, and a few condiments in the fridge to get you started. Family-Friendly Features Traveling with kids? We offer toys, a pack ’n play, and a travel changing pad. Our outdoor pool (open mid-May through October) is shared with one other studio apartment on the property. Property & Outdoor Space Although the apartment is attached to our home, it is fully private with its own entrance and shared front porch - similar to a duplex setup. Guests may also use a washer and dryer reserved for guests located in the basement of our home; simply walk around to the back to access it. We have a half-court basketball area with comfortable benches, as well as two disc golf baskets - feel free to bring your discs! Our property includes 8 acres of open fields and 6 acres of woods, accented by hydrangeas and deciduous holly hedges. On many days you can spot bi-planes, ultralights, skydivers, or hot air balloons drifting by, adding a bit of magic to the view. Logistics Parking is available for one car next to the apartment entrance, with additional space behind the house. The maximum occupancy is four guests. One pet is welcome with an added pet fee - please be sure to include your pet in your reservation. We built this energy-efficient home ourselves and are proud to share it with guests who appreciate comfort, nature, and thoughtful details. We look forward to hosting you! Guest access You will need a car to get around our neighborhood. Other things to note We currently allow one pet for those that pay the pet fee. Pets must remain on leash and well-supervised anytime they are outside. Also, the pool is shared with other Airbnb guests so please do not bring dogs into the fenced-in pool area.
