The Piggery - glamping pod at Alpaca Lodge

Experience glamping at its very best with our luxurious pod which comfortably accommodates 4 people, heated for all year round use and ideal for a relaxing family staycation in this beautiful countryside location. We offer the unique opportunity of sharing your space with our delightful alpacas, cheeky pigs, and sweet chickens and ducks, who delight in being fed by our guests. The space ‘The Piggery’ is a beautiful contemporary styled pod for 4 people with a double bed and a set of bunk beds, fully insulated and heated to keep you cosy and warm no matter what the weather outside. Within the pod you will also find a small table and chairs, Freeview TV, internet connection, electric sockets with USB connections, bedside flexilights, and room heater. All bed linen and towels are provided. Outside you have your own picnic table and communal area, with several gas BBQs as well as tables and chairs within a grove of silver birch trees. And our luxurious shower and kitchen cabin will make you feel right at home, there are three spacious wet rooms, one appointed to each glamping pod, each with a shower, toilet, basin, hand dryer and heated towel rail. Hair dryers and an enviable array of toiletries are provided. Alongside is a fully fitted kitchen with full size sink, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and plenty of storage space, together with pots, pans and utensils for all your cooking needs. Also provided is a coolbox/bag for days out, freshly ground coffee, tea, sugar, milk, kitchen towels, salt & pepper, spices, cooking oils, washing up liquid and full range of cleaning materials. And charming vintage crockery, cutlery and glassware to make your dining a real occasion. The open-sided barn is available for your use during inclement weather or chillier nights and here you can dine or relax in a cosy vintage space or enjoy some games for guests of all ages. A children’s playframe with swings and slide is available for under 10s along with plenty of outdoor games for older children and adults and we are located in a safe, secure area fully fenced so children can explore safely.
