Park Place Suite is located in Laramie’s historic “Tree District” and is within walking distance to University of Wyoming, War Memorial Stadium, downtown Laramie , and the Gryphon Theater. This unique garden level 1 bedroom apartment is newly renovated and offers a cozy retreat with private entrance. The environment is decorated with original art and has the amenities to help you feel at home. The Space This 1 bedroom, 1 bath, combined living-dining-kitchen garden level apartment is fully furnished. Wood-look tile floors in living area and carpet in bedroom. The suite has an open design with windows throughout. The kitchen is appointed with coffee maker, French press coffee pot, microwave, toaster, 4-burner electric stove & oven, apartment size refrigerator, and kitchen ware, offering all the amenities needed for meal preparation. The full bath has tub & shower with soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. The washer/dryer is available not currently for guest use due to COVID and location in the main house. There is an excellent laundry mat with drop-off service located 1.0 mile from apartment. There is available Wi-Fi and television with Roku and HDMI for streaming your favorite online programming (Netflix, Prime Video, PBS, & Hulu are included). On-street parking is available just outside the gated entrance. Park Place Suite has been set up as a guest apartment and is not a shared space. It will be your home while you are a guest. The Location The location of the house in the historic “Tree District” makes this space central to many areas in and near Laramie. The following are a few: 1. Downtown Laramie: 1.3 mi 2. University of Wyoming: 0.7 mi 3. War Memorial Stadium: 1.3 mi 4. Centennial, WY and Snowy Range Mountains: 30 mi (30 min) 5. Vedauwoo: 23 miles (25 min) 6. Happy Jack Recreation Area Trailhead: 14 mi (13 min) 7. Snowy Range Ski Resort: 30 mi (30 minutes) Self check-in is available via keypad. Please let us know if you prefer self check-in and we will send you instructions and an entry code. Otherwise, we enjoy greeting guests upon arrival and being available for questions or requests. Our goal is to make sure your stay is pleasant and comfortable. I live on-sight and will be available to assist you in making your stay comfortable. I believe in honoring guest privacy and will not be intrusive, but available should there be a need or question. Park Place is located 3 (short) blocks from Washington Park, which is a main Laramie City Park. The neighborhood is safe and a great area for walking and bike riding. Laramie has a great art and music scene and you will be close to many interesting venues. The University of Wyoming express bus service stop is located .4 miles from apartment and offers transportation to the university, where you can connect with other routes that traverse the city. The Pedal House (Downtown Laramie) offers bike rentals by the day or the week. Downtown offers a Safe Ride service at night so there is no need to drink and drive. We have a fenced yard with summer gardens, a patio with table and chairs, a combination gas and charcoal grill, and sitting areas in the yard. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor space. It's a lovely place to have your morning coffee!
