The space The house underwent a complete gut renovation with all new high end kitchen, bathrooms, lighting , paint, refinished flooring , finished basement with big screen TV and ping pong / air hockey table , etc. The interior design is Nordic with Moroccan touches throughout. The bedding and towels are brand new white linens from pottery barn and Quince and all the mattresses are Casper. The kitchen is very well stocked with premium pots , pans, dishes, cutting boards, spices, glassware . The house gets gorgeous light from sun up to sun down and is surrounded by tranquil and beautiful nature and the sounds of frogs from the pond just outside the house and dozens of different birds. There is a bounty of natural wildlife and landscaping to enjoy throughout the property with wild berry bushes, an orchard, and various trees and flowers growing throughout. Enjoy the new barrel sauna with pond views, watch movies by the fire on the projector or down in the finished basement on the big screen TV, hang around the fire pit, or explore the area. The house is close to towns of Andes, Bovina, Hamden, Delhi, Margaretville, Arkville, and Roxbury. Ski at Belleayre Ski Resort (30 min) or Plattekill Ski Resort (40 min). Guest access The entire home and grounds are available for access. Other things to note This house is truly on a nature preserve. It’s actually been classified as a rainforest! We work hard to keep mice out but if you leave food out, they will come find it.
