Get away from the bustle of the suburbs and relax. Enjoy lovely flowers, fruit laden trees and the sounds and sights of farm animals in a cozy 100 year old farm house nestled on a family ranch. Historic Auburn is the Endurance Capital of the world. Rivers, lakes, hiking, mountain biking, river rafting and much more within minutes. On the wine trail, the Placer mandarin trail and great boutique breweries too. Lake Tahoe and the Sierras with skiing, snowboarding and snow fun an hour up I-80. This 100 year old farm house is situated on a private corner of our little ranch. It is surrounded by trees and flowers. It is great for a family vacations and is a great hub for exploring the area rich in history and recreation activities. Car is best, but there are Uber and Lyft services too. Lot's of folks road bike through the beautiful back country roads. Our family home is on the property. We are available for questions or special needs. We are not always home, so everything you need will be in the farm house. Our little ranch does have farm animals and we ask that you respect their space. At certain times we may offer experiences at the ranch. You are welcome to ask if you want to visit the farm animals. This is a rural area in the Gold Country foothills with lots of wineries, breweries, organic vegetable and fruit farms and more. We are just 50 minutes from Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, Boreal, Soda Springs. 75 minutes to Squaw Valley - Alpine Meadows and 90 minutes from Lake Tahoe and North Star. The beautiful American River with swimming, rafting and not to mention excellent bike and hiking trails is minutes away. Rolling Lake and Clementine are waterskiing lakes. Yet, we are just 7 minutes from I-80. A car is your best bet, but we do have Uber, Lyft and Taxis.
