Traditional Grade II listed Scottish cottage. Prime location, 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 5, pool table room, garden, private driveway. Short stroll to town centre, The Birks of Aberfeldy, Wade’s bridge and river Tay. 15-20min walk to Aberfeldy Distillery, the home of Dewar’s whisky. Kenmore/Loch Tay are just a 10 min. drive straight down the road from Ivy. Home-away-from home in Aberfeldy, the heart of Scotland, to enjoy and relax after a day of exploring the beautiful Highland Perthshire. The space Ideally located end terraced grade II listed Victorian cottage with private driveway and garden. Downstairs, you will find a well equipped kitchen with dining area, American style fridge freezer with ice dispenser, electric cooker with oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The comfortable living room includes a cosy electric fireplace, a large Smart HD TV also allowing you to log in to your own Netflix account etc. and a vintage Nintendo games console. The living room leads to a conservatory with a pool table and wall mounted TV. You can then enter your private garden through the conservatory door. The main bathroom is also located downstairs and includes a bath and shower. The 3 bedrooms are all upstairs. These are two large bedrooms both with king size beds. One of these bedrooms has an en suite bathroom. There is a further single bed bedroom. All with plenty of storage in large wardrobes. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire property. We now also offer full access at member’s discount to all Live Active Highland facilities (swimming pool, gym etc.) at Breadalbane Community Campus which is located behind Ivy Cottage. Your voucher will be at the cottage upon your arrival. Other things to note *All bedrooms are upstairs in the cottage. The main bathroom with bath and shower is downstairs, with a further en-suite bathroom with shower off the main bedroom. *Children are very welcome, but please note the cottage is not child-proof. We do have a baby travel cot and high chair available on request for a small additional £25/stay cost. Anything else required is the guest’s responsibility. *Pets are not allowed at Ivy Cottage due to our many returning guests with pet allergies and those who prefer to book pet free accommodation. *The cottage is warm, comfortable and well insulated. Heating is controlled by a Nest thermostat system in the kitchen which you can adjust to preference and is pre set to boost in the mornings and evenings for convenience. In light of the fuel crisis, we kindly request you do not leave the heating on and/or excessively high when not necessary. In the event of excessive and beyond normal heat consumption, we reserve the right to add the excess costs to your rental bill. *Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited. If required, there is an ashtray outside at the back patio door. Please dispose of any cigarette ends responsibly. *EV charging through the cottage’s domestic outlets is strictly prohibited as it is against our short term holiday home insurance policy. Nearest EV chargers are within walking distance at upper Coop car park. *We endeavour to try and fix anything that might come up during your stay, but are not liable for loss of services/amenities beyond our control.
