Home is a newly renovated log cabin on the banks of the peaceful Pedernales River.WE HAVE DIRECT RIVER ACCESS! Enjoy swimming holes or put your feet in the rapids.The property offers plenty of room to spread out over 6 acres. Explore the river and keep your eyes open for wildlife. Deer come by at sunset to say hello. We are located 10 min from over 20 wineries.The town is 5 min away as well! The space Blue Dog River Ranch is located on the Pedernales River on over 6 acres. It is a fully renovated log cabin with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Note that bedroom 3 and 4 are connected but have doors to close them off from each other. We are also right at the start of the famous 290 Wine Trail which has over 50 award winning wineries. We are 5 minutes from town where the Wine Trail starts and some of our favorite wineries are located within 10-15 minutes of our property. Whether you are coming to enjoy the river, the wineries or the town itself, we promise there is something here for everyone! ** On the property we have a small cottage that we rent out longer term. This will not affect your stay as our renters are very quiet and keep to themselves. ** Please note that the property is in the country. With this you may see snakes, insects, cactus, prickly bushes, and stickers. ** Please also note that the river is ever changing. Even during times of drought, we have water. Our spot is spring fed and is constantly replenished even if you don't see much flow upstream. Water color/clarity depends on so many things as told to me by the LCRA: Flowrate, rain frequency, last major rainfall, plants, etc. Lower flows often mean higher clarity and recent rains can make it cloudy. Every time we visit it's a little different and so we tried to add bunches of photos. Other things to note We have direct river access on our property. Enjoy the beauty of the Pedernales River while kayaking, swimming, fishing, exploring, or sitting in a chair by the river. There are so many options.
