This home is located in a highly desirable location in the historic borough of Doylestown. Easy walk everywhere and enjoy the sights and sounds. Light use of kitchen , deck and front porch when not in use by host. Level of interaction depends on the guest. In general, I leave my guests alone but am available to offer any help or assistance they might need. It's a friendly home and I want everyone to enjoy their visit! My home is on a quiet borough street and just a short walk into town- where you'll find a friendly, thriving, walkable community, rich with cafes, boutiques, restaurants, welcoming bars and beautiful architecture. Just an hour from Philadelphia and two hours from Manhattan, it has much to offer visitors. There's the Michener Art Museum, and the Mercer Museum, as well as Fonthill Castle. We have our very own nonprofit art house movie theater, independent book store and record store. The famed communities of New Hope and Lambertville, nestled along the Delaware River, and widely known for their art galleries, restaurants and more, are an easy drive away. Come visit- you won't be disappointed! My home is a short walk into the borough and and the train station is a quick drive or just a 10-15-minute walk away. Buses to NYC available there, too. Guests may want to bring slippers to wear in the house, to avoid slipping on the stairs, which are hardwood. Prefer guests are settled in no later than midnight, unless attending a wedding or other special event.
