I love our central location – not more than 10 minutes between downtown restaurants, breweries, and shops, Post Canyon trail system for hiking and biking, lesser-known but quality eateries in the heights, award-winning wineries in the Hood River Valley, and access to Highway 35 for winter actives on Mount Hood. Complete cleaning after each guests' stay is performed by a professional cleaner. The garage and master bedroom closet not pictured in the listing are not accessible to guests as personal items are stored in these locations. There is a 6 seat hot tub in the backyard, that fits 4 very comfortably and is operational year round. We have highspeed wifi, a TV with Chromecast, two off-street parking spots with additional spots on street in front of the home, and many small common kitchen appliances. Providing your own transportation is best, but public transportation is available during daytime hours through Columbia Area Transit (CAT) Ride share is not yet available in the gorge and taxi services are limited, sometimes with long waits during peak hours. Plan accordingly to travel around the gorge safely if visiting the many breweries and wineries. I'm a full-time resident of the area and love to adventure in the Columbia River Gorge.
