Skeldale House is the original filming location of All Creatures Great & Small. The largest Suite at Skeldale House, the Tricky Woo Suite is named after Mrs Pumphrey’s over-indulged Pekinese dog, who frequented the surgery many a time! The Tricky Woo Suite is a large one bed apartment with kitchen, dining area, large lounge with a sofa bed, and a fabulous bedroom with feature roll top bath and separate shower room. With sumptuous décor this apartment oozes mid-century style and sophistication. The space The Tricky Woo Suite is our grandest apartment, situated on the ground floor, with large lounge, full kitchen, and sensational bedroom with a feature freestanding roll top bath. Entry is via a small hallway which opens into the kitchen: Kitchen: You will have a large kitchen with lots of cabinets, Neff appliances including dishwasher, oven, / microwave, induction hob and fridge / freezer. The kitchen is completed with beautiful gold sink and composite marble worktops. You will find a good assortment of utensils, pans, manual espresso machine and kettle. There is also a full sized dining table with 4 chairs. Please note that there is no washing machine. Lounge: A very large sitting room with high ceilings, original features, stripped wooden floor, with two three seater settees, one of which is a sofa bed with thick mattress topper. There is lots of space to socialise with your guests, and a wide variety of antique and contemporary furniture. A variety of lighting choices will allow you to set the mood for your stay. There is also a large 58' Panasonic 4k Smart TV with Netflix, plus you can also stream your apps from your mobile devices. Large Bedroom: The grand bedroom features a gorgeous freestanding bath on a porcelain tiled platform, deep luxurious carpets, sensational gold velvet wing back headboard, fine linens,and large antique wardrobe. Bathroom: Compact bathroom includes small wash basin, walk in shower and WC. We provide fabulous organic, vegan and paraben free shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, and hand / body lotion by H2K of Harrogate AS NEW OWNERS, UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT BRING ACROSS THE OLDER REVIEW SCORES. IT WAS 4.9 PREVIOUSLY Other things to note Nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire, the Yorkshire Dales and the charming village of Askrigg offer breathtaking landscapes and a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With rolling hills, lush valleys, and picturesque stone cottages, this area is a haven for nature lovers and those seeking adventure. It is on the Herriot Way path and has some fantastic walking. The mountain biking and road cycling in the area is excellent but steep! Electric bike anyone? Close by we have Hawes with the creamery, Bolton Castle, Malham with its Tarn, and open water swimming in SemerWater just 15mins away. Askrigg has 3 pubs which serve food, the Bakewell cafe and bakery and the local shop sells most things you would need on a short break. In the surrounding area of Askrigg, visitors can enjoy scenic walks along the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, perfect for both leisurely strolls and challenging hikes.
