Cozy Cottage at Kanopolis Lake

If you enjoy just getting away, or just want some time at the lake, you will love it here. It has all of the modern necessities that one would need. There is a nice little trail that leads down to the water. There is plenty of room for a boat or other toys to be parked on the property. It is a short drive to Lindsborg or Marquette. Salina and Ellsworth are about 35-40 minutes away. It does sleep four and we ask that if you want to setup a tent no more than 6 without prior permission. The space There is a marked parking area directly in front of the deck to the cabin in front of the afire ring. We do ask that all vehicles are parked in this area unless other arrangements are made. Please do not drive in the yard. There is a large area between the blue shop and the cabin that children and adults are welcome to use as well as a horseshoe pit in the front yard. There is a small play set that can be used, we just ask that children are supervised. Feel free to use the fire pit, but you must provide your own wood and only when wind speeds are below 10 mph and there is not a fire band in place. Guest access Guests have full and private access to the entire cabin. Guests are welcome to use the firepit as long as they bring their own wood and the wind is less than 10 mph. The backyard of the property is open for play for guests that have children. Other things to note There is a manual inside the cabin that lists some interesting areas close to the cabin to include a local Drive In movie theater, a motorcycle museum, a couple of small local restaurants, and a distillery. Most of these are about a 30 minute drive away, but very well worth the time. Great experiences and great people.
