Casa Jardin in Brasilito features a 3-bedroom, 3-bath home and a separate 1-bedroom apartment with a swimming pool a few blocks from the beach. The main home’s three bedrooms have two king beds and two twin beds with beautiful wooden headboards in irregular shapes, cut directly from the trunks of local hardwoods. The other house is an apartment-style unit with a kitchenette and a king bed in its single bedroom, offering privacy for a couple in a larger group. One of the bedrooms features a sliding-glass door and a big, elegant easy chair. It has an immaculate en suite bathroom with a rain shower. Another contains a beautiful, wooden L-shaped desk with office chair, and another has a leather-style couch. Outside, the poolside table matches the style of the tree-trunk headboards. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens and trees. The living room in the main home has an attractive wooden sofa and chairs with red cushions, a large TV and air conditioning. Adjacent to that is the dining room, with a long wooden table that also mimics the wood design elsewhere. The kitchen is first-rate, with stainless-steel appliances, quartz counters and island with bar stools, plus a tile backsplash. **The property generally does not allow animals or pets, this includes service and emotional support animals. For detailed information, please refer to the booking policy and/or house rules.** Casa Jardin, Brasilito, in Catalina Cove Casa Jardin is located in Catalina Cove, a gated housing development a short drive (or long-ish walk) from Brasilito Beach. There’s a great supermarket right at the turnoff, and Brasilito is brimming with nice restaurants and bars, including the Patagonia del Mar (Argentine-style steak and seafood) and the outstanding new Masala (gourmet Indian food). Brasilito is a delightful little beachfront town that is both an authentically Costa Rican village and a legitimate tourist destination. It’s the jumping-off place to Playa Conchal, possibly the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica. And of course every kind of adventure is available here or near here, including fishing, surfing, scuba diving, sunset cruises, ziplining, ATVs, wildlife rescue centers and waterfalls. Casa Jardin in Brasilito is a luxurious, centrally located pair of homes ideal for a large family or group of friends to experience all that Costa Rica has to offer. Adventure awaits Your rental will be stocked with a welcome basket of coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, cooking oil and Costa Rica’s famous Salsa Lizano. We’re always ready to help you book any adventure, including scuba diving, fishing, ocean cruises, horseback riding and ATV tours. Day trips to Rincón de la Vieja National Park, whitewater rafting or local cultural tours – we’re here to offer you unbeatable service! For more info about tours and activities, check out the following link. We’ll be happy to provide free, competitive quotes for private rental cars, transport to/from the Liberia or San Jose airports, chef services, tours and activities. We are locals and can answer any questions you may have regarding this property and the surrounding area. We are here to make your next Costa Rican getaway unforgettable. Brasilito is a beach town between Huacas and Flamingo with a traditional Costa Rican feel but also many businesses that cater to tourism. Brasilito has several smallish hotels, little soda restaurants and larger restaurants. The relatively new Masala Indian Food is excellent, and the Patagonia del Mar steakhouse is very popular. There are various small convenience stores and the well-stocked Super Conchal. The Sea Star Souvenir store is a great place to buy gifts. Downtown Brasilito has a large, open field that is primarily used as a parking lot for people walking to Playa Conchal. Conchal is sometimes called the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica, and it’s well worth a visit, but you have to walk about half a kilometer from Brasilito to get there. This field is also used for seasonal fairs and rodeos, with a temporary bullring that’s erected every year in February. Horseback riding is another popular activity. You’ll often see horses tied up on the beach waiting for customers who want to ride. Brasilito is small enough that you can easily get around on foot. Visit some of the lively bars at night, and you may feel like a party is breaking out everywhere at once. Work began in February 2023 on expanding the one-lane bridge in the heart of town to a two-lane bridge with pedestrian sidewalks. The work was expected to take up to six months, with a detour from the Beach Community Church in the south to the Agua y Sal bakery in the north. Pedestrians and motorcycles are able to cross at the bridge construction site, but cars and trucks are not. Completion of this work will unclog a major regional bottleneck that has always caused traffic jams. On the southern outskirts of Brasilito, there’s an Ebais medical clinic, a police station, the private Hospital Metropolitano, the Costa Rica International Academy, and the high-end Reserva Conchal resort, with two hotels and a golf course. In nearby Huacas, there’s a gas station, several large grocery stores, all kinds of shops, the Beach Side Clinic hospital and other conveniences. Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond. We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport. Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Our information brochure will provide you with useful information on local transportation options and points of interest, as well as contact information for taxis and shuttles. Special Places of Costa Rica is committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification. Before your stay begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.
