A dog lover's paradise. The house is located in the midst of legendary Martin Buser's Happy Trails Kennel. It's off the beaten path and an authentic Alaskan experience. The space This house is uniquely located in the midst of a working sled dog kennel. Dog Mushing is Alaska’s State Sport. Both summer tours and winter dog sled rides are basically a few steps away. Groomed winter trails are easily accessible to fat tire bikes, dog teams and snow machines. We are just an hour and a half away from Anchorage and guests have easy access to the Alaskan Wilderness. Guest access Guests have access to a deck, grassy yard, fire pit and a private lake a short hike away. Other things to note The small town of Big Lake is about 10 miles away. You can find a grocery store, library, liquor store and two gas stations, as well as the Big Lake Family Restaurant.
