Welcome to Wanderer's Nook. This space is a relaxing private downstairs apartment. We live upstairs. One bedroom, bathroom. Full kitchen/ living room. Outside porch that has rocking chairs and a bar table where you can sit and listen to a quaint stream flowing in the front yard. You will be half a mile from Historic downtown Saluda and close to Hendersonville, Asheville , and the Tryon Equestrian Center. Easy access to I26 where adventure awaits. Owners live upstairs. This private apartment is a lovely space to relax. Enjoy the sound of the stream that runs in the front yard while you rock in the rocking chairs on the patio. Easy access to I26 and close to many hiking/biking trails as well as kayaking, ziplines and waterfalls. You will have free parking and access to the downstairs apartment and downstairs patio. Also feel free to sit on the bench by the stream in the front yard. The property is best suited for one vehicle per stay. If you have an oversized truck or large vehicle just note that there is a small bridge you have to cross to park and backing out can be tricky for some people. Some guests have backed into the space for an easier exit. We ask to park straight ahead past the bridge and leave room for our car to park on the right. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. We live upstairs but the apartment is separate. In Saluda there is a true sense of community and a passion for the arts. Everyone you meet will engage you in the warmest way. You can walk or bike into downtown Saluda. There are of ton of trails close by and Saluda is on the map for its grade and draws hundreds of bicyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. Parking is designated on premises for apartment. We do have a dog upstairs but she is pretty quiet and we are out of the house with her a lot. In the bathroom, there is one step to go up to the shower and toilet. Just be mindful of your step. No smoking on property. No parties allowed.
