Description
An artfully curated, pet-friendly desert escape for the quietly unruly. Created by artists, The Outlaw Casita is more than a place to crash…it’s a world. A mood. A lovingly crafted space designed to feel both grounding and otherworldly. This isn’t luxury in the traditional sense. It’s something rarer: honest, intentional, and filled with soul. Slightly edgy. Quietly radiant. We give 10% off our listing for military & veterans thank you for your service! The space What You’ll Find: • A Private Hot Springs Soak Your own mineral tub. It fills slowly but the ritual is part of the magic. Let it steep. • Artfully Curated Interior Designed by working artists with a love of light, texture, and stories. Every object was chosen. Nothing is accidental. • Cozy Robes Included For slow mornings, post-soak draping, or wandering out to stare at the sky with tea or coffee in hand. • Pet-Friendly Well-behaved companions are always welcome! We just ask that you respect the furnishings…some of them have stories too. • Walkable to TorC’s Weird Little Wonders Hot springs spas, vintage shops, coffee, and desert oddities are all nearby and all optional. This is not a spa. It’s a spell. We don’t offer perfection. We offer presence. There’s no marble but there is a robe or two. There’s no waterfall shower but there’s a tub that fills with ancient water beneath the stars. PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING: Our soaking tub is currently being renewed to make your future soak even better. While it’s being refreshed, all other amenities remain fully open for your desert escape. Thank you for your patience and understanding! Best For: Creative types, seekers, solo escapees, couples who hate brunch menus, people with dust on their boots or books in their bag. Anyone craving a reset that doesn’t come with spa music and cucumber. If you’re looking for polished, keep scrolling. If you’re looking for real, you’re home. Rules (Because Even Outlaws Need Boundaries): • Treat this space with the reverence of a home…not a hotel. • No parties, unapproved guests, or chaos. You’re here to exhale, not explode. • Let the soak fill. Breathe. Repeat. Ask us if you want it filled before hand to save yourself time. • Check-in and check-out are lovingly but firmly enforced. Refunds are not provided for subjective preferences or issues that do not impact functionality or safety. Guest access You’ll have full, private access to the Outlaw Casita. No shared spaces and no interruptions. • Entry is through a secure side gate with a personalized code (provided before arrival). Come and go as you please, unnoticed. • Free parking is available either on the property or right out front on the street. It’s easy, accessible, and yours. • We’re walking distance to nearly everything: local grocery, the town brewery, coffee shops, art galleries, vintage stores, bookstores, cafes, and the other hot springs options that made this place famous. This town may be small, but it’s full of strange charm and creative spirit…just like our casita. Other things to note ATTENTION GUESTS: 🌵 Our soaking tub is currently getting a little love while we complete some upgrades. Everything else at the Casita is ready for you to relax and unwind! Our hot springs tub pulls geothermal water straight from an ancient well beneath the property. It’s untreated and mineral rich. It’s the real thing. Because our pumping system is intentionally small and quiet, the soak takes about 3 hours to fully fill. Yes, it’s slow. And yes, it’s absolutely worth it. We invite you to treat this process like a ritual, not an inconvenience. Let the world slow down while the tub fills…make tea, light a candle, slip into a robe, stare at the ceiling. You’ll emerge renewed. If you’d like guidance on how to start the fill or maintain temperature, we’re happy to help. Just send us a message…we’re always around when you need us.
