You can walk to the lake and marina from the house during the summer months. Check local marinas for slip availability and rates. Distance to lake and marina vary greatly depending on lake level in any given season. Lake is 50 feet from the house when lake is full (usually by Memorial Day if we have a heavy rain season) then further as the summer progresses and the water recedes. IMPORTANT ON DOGS: We will allow up to two very well behaved dogs but we do change $95 per dog. These dogs must be well trained, not puppies and are never let on the furniture or beds. They must never be left alone in the house unless in a crate. Owners must clean up after them. Sorry, no Cats. Bringing a pet that is not approved by us and paid for will result in a $500 fee. If the lake drops below 140' down, this starts to impact the availability of our local boat ramp and marina that requires travel to another part of the lake.
