Private abode in Southern Victorian

This is a private one bedroom one bathroom space with a separate keyed entrance attached to our home. You will have your own sitting area to enjoy on the spacious wrap-around front porch. No kitchen but there is a mini-fridge and coffeemaker, iron and hair dryer. There are two sets of somewhat steep stairs leading up to the front porch. You will have your own sitting area to enjoy on the spacious front porch. The apartment is connected to the main house and one of the walls is shared. There are two doors connecting the two rooms to the rest of the house. These doors will be locked and the space will be private for you. The house dates back to 1904 and sitting on the wrap-around porch and exploring inside featuring 13 foot ceilings, fireplaces, bead-board, large wavy glass windows, heart pine floors and a clawfoot tub is like stepping back in time. There is no kitchen in the space but a mini-fridge and coffeemaker are provided. There is no TV but WiFi is available. There are two sets of somewhat steep stairs up to the front porch where you will enter your space. This space is best suited for people who don’t mind a little bit of stair climbing. We have a grey, blue eyed cat named Pangur Ban and while he will not be in your space he does wonder in there from time to time when it's unoccupied and the doors are unlocked and opened. You will probably run into him laying in the sun on the porch. This won't be a problem for most but if you are extremely allergic to cats take heed! We love plants and our yard is wild, full of shade garden ferns, hostas and native pollinators. You’ll see lots of hummingbirds wizzing by! Guest access You will have access to one bedroom with a queen bed, ample closet space, WiFi, a mini-fridge, coffee, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. The bathroom is huge. There's a stand-up tiled shower and a clawfoot tub. Towels and hairdryer provided. Your private entrance is located off the front porch. You can enjoy a breezy outdoor sitting area surrounded by plants and birds. Put your feet up and watch the world go by.
