Rent an SUV or vehicle that rides high off the ground – preferably a 4-wheel drive if you want to explore all the waterfalls and hiking areas. You can get to most cabins in a 2-wheel drive but still would not drive a sedan. Roads on the mountains are curvy, narrow, and dark at night. Many roads are paved, but still many are gravel as well.
