Clutha Gold Cycle Trail at the gate, tennis on back lawn, swimming or just contemplating your toes for a day or two. Beaumont is a wonderful place to re-charge mind or body. The space This lovely 1870's two room school house offers two large rooms, with high ceilings and large north facing windows. A small, functional kitchen is available with a gas cooker. There is a large, flat entry shower, plus two separate toilets. There is one inside bedroom, plus a separate outdoor sleep out. For a group there are additional beds in the lounge, plus fold out sofa. There is a sliding door between the two main rooms meaning that the lounge becomes a separate, private sleeping space. Beds have electric blankets. The house is heated with a wood burner which is very efficient. For larger groups, saying longer, there is an additional second fridge. There is a small library available, plus a TV for streaming Netflix etc. There is no TV reception. Heaps of parking. Ramp access to house, means good access to people with disabilities. The grounds are extensive with beautiful mature trees. You will hear and see lots of New Zealand native birds including bellbird and fantails. There is plenty of room to kick a ball around. Feel free to turn the music up inside, you will not disturb the neighbours! Vodafone cell phone access only. WiFi on site. We welcome everyone! That means you and your loved ones (no matter their race, gender, sexual or gender preference)! Guest access Everything available to guests. The pool and tennis court on property are owned by community. A donation is required for their use. Other things to note The nearest shop is 23km away. Bring food with you. The local pub is a ten minute walk and does great fish and chips.
