Red Door Retreat

We hope you love Red Door Retreat as much as we do! A private, tranquil home base straight across the road from the Base Hospital, and one block from Rockhampton Grammar School. Stylish and comfortable, this 1950's cottage style home has quality linens and many thoughtful personal touches that will make it your home away from home. There is off street parking for several vehicles. David grew up in Rocky, and as a family we have lived here for over 20 years, so you'll be looked after by locals! The space Red Door Retreat is a private home in a residential area. There are 3 bedrooms. The Queen bedroom has a walk-in robe and ensuite. The second bedroom has 2 extra-long single beds which can be converted to a King bed (if you would like the King bed version please let us know when you are booking). The third bedroom has king-single bunks, plus there is a single floor mattress for that extra person! The kitchen is modern with all the amenities you'd expect, and there is an open plan living/dining area. There is a sweet front porch with a loveseat for relaxing on, plus a shady back deck area with a fan, overlooking a small but tranquil fenced back garden. Guest access The property is on a quietish residential street, so access is very easy. From Monday - Friday the street is full of parked cars (hospital workers). However the property has it's own off street parking for 2-3 vehicles, one in a lockable garage and 2 in the driveway (if you squeeze them in!). Please DO NOT park on the grass. Other things to note Breakfast - we provide provisions for a light breakfast to get you started - milk, fruit, selection of cereals, bread (in the freezer) and brekky spreads.
