This house is custom built with design features that work in harmony with the environment- our local piñon juniper old growth forest. This property and neighborhood has old growth trees in excess of 700-1200 years. Trees that were here long before the first European discovery of America. For these reasons, this property is extremely quiet, peaceful, magical and serene. The exceptional architecture of this home was intentionally designed with the landscape in mind and offers unobstructed views for 30 miles, reaching the top of the alpine peaks of the La plata mountain range. Bunk Bed Room (or kids room): this room is equipped with 2 sets of bunk beds (4 beds total). These are rated for 400lbs on the top and bottom bunk so they are great for adults and kids. There is also a full sized bed. This room is stocked with books and toys, a lounge chair, and a closet. Upstairs Bath: full bathroom with tub and marble counters. Plenty of towels for large groups. Bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and has sliding barn doors.
