Uniquely located on both Cannon Lake & the 45 mile Sakatah Singing Hills State trail. This private lake house has many modern updates yet historic character. You can enjoy the charm of staying on a nonoperating 2 acre farm along with 150 feet of lakeshore. We have bikes, kayaks, yard games & a barn game room. Cannon Lake is the largest lake in Rice County approx. 1600 acres. The area has many great restaurants, shops, parks and 10 more lakes within 10 miles. Ideal for family/friends getaway. The space This newly refurbished 100-year-old lake house with modern farmhouse architecture has black windows, original hardwood floors, and a view of the lake from nearly every room. The kitchen, dining room and living room has an open floor concept ideal for friends or family entertainment. Be amazed with a very unique upstairs with century old barn wood walls along with many repurposed antique farm details. The extremely large yard is ideal for yard games or relaxing by the lake. There is also a barn converted to a game room with many games and decorated with antiques. Note the game room barn has no heat and not useable in winter months. End your day with beautiful sunsets over the water from the dock or by the campfire. Fast fiberoptic Wi-Fi for your streaming services. Other things to note There is a discount for stays 1 week or longer. We recommend you book early for Shattuck-St. Mary’s School, St. Olaf College and Carlton College functions as they book very early. There is a minimum night stay of 4 nights in the summer, 3 nights the rest of the year. We also have 2 kayaks, a canoe, a paddle board, several bikes, many yard games, firewood, a dock, barn game room and an extremely large private yard all free to use.
