Our apartment is 6 miles from downtown New Paltz on a quiet and private setting only 1.5 hours from New York City, in the heart of Hudson Valley's Wine Country and apple/peach orchards. 1 bedroom apartment with separate kitchen living room and front porch. Fridge is stocked with eggs, bread, cheese, coffee, wine. We have a large HD screen TV and Roku, but no local cable. 7 miles from Mohonk Preserve and 10 miles from Gunks climbing area, and great Cross-country skiing. Self check-in 1 bedroom apartment located in the back of our 1850's Federal house. The apartment is on the first floor with its own entrance. We have another rented apartment on the second floor. Grill available outside on porch along with outdoor dining table and another seating area with lounge chairs. COVID-19 UPDATE: During this time we are taking extra cleaning precautions and going above and beyond to make sure that the apartment has been thoroughly cleaned between each guest. We prefer longer term bookings of at least a week and if you are looking to stay for shorter stays please reach out. We are open to one night rentals during the winter and contact me for more information. The house sits on a 3 acre property and we have a fire pit that you are free to use. We live in the front of the house and someone will be around if you have any questions. A grocery store is 2 miles away, and down town New Paltz is 6 miles away. Minnewaska State Park is a 22,275 acre state park perfect for winter activities like cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice climbing. Minnewaska is a 25 min. drive from the apartment Mohonk Preserve has 8,000 acres for cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice climbing and iceskating. Mohonk is about a 20 minutes drive away. Hunter Mountain, Belleyre and Windham are great areas for downhill skiing and are all approximately 1 hour drive north of New Paltz. Car is recommended, and taxis and Uber are available from New Paltz. Nordic skiing: (URL HIDDEN) There will be some food stocked in fridge like eggs, bread, cheese, coffee, cream and some New York wines. Some fresh fruit will be provided. Wifi is available and we have cable TV with access to premium television channels. Having a car is recommended since the nearest grocery store is 2 miles away and we are 5 miles from the town of New Paltz. We will give special deals to guests visiting the area if they stay for extended time. New Paltz University is only 5 miles away, Marist College is 12 miles away, Vassar College is 13 miles away.
