Tacy's is a small, quaint but modern structure located at the main property of Elk River Inn. Private hot tub on the porch. There is sleeping space for 5, one bathroom and has a small kitchen and living area. We have ungraded our internet with fiber, so our service is now among the best in the area, with speeds of 110-130bps. Walk right out the door to hiking or cross country ski trails, mountain bike trails and fly fishing. 20 minute drive to the top of Snowshoe Mountain Resort. The space Tacy's Cabin is the perfect home base for your outdoor adventures and relaxing in the countryside. Situated at an elevation of 2800 feet, Tacy's sits on 142 acres of farmland adjacent to the Monongahela National Forest. Our land includes meadows, forest, fishable streams, a large fire pit, hot tub, and plenty of room for your family to relax and explore. From your porch you’ll hear the Old Field Fork of the Elk River, which runs through the property. Our land boasts private trails that adjoin the National Forest trail system, with the Props Run Trailhead located just steps from the door. Miles of mountain biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing is available right outside. Secure bicycle storage and covered motorcycle parking is available in our bike barn. Your hosts are life-long outdoor adventurers, very knowledgeable about local cycling, hiking, skiing, and fly-fishing opportunities – Just ask!
