Close to all that the Peninsula has to offer (including bay and ocean beaches) but away from the frantic holiday crowds. Relax and unwind in our gorgeous cedar cottage set amongst 15 acres of mature olive trees and native vegetation. Dogs very welcome by prior agreement with one acre of fenced garden to enjoy. Mornington Peninsula Council Registration STRA0481/23 The space Escape the crowds and retreat back to nature whilst still being within 10 minutes of bustling Mornington and Mount Martha on the bay side and Balnarring on the ocean side of the Peninsula. Enjoy the abundant native bird life whilst you relax and unwind on the large deck of our cedar cottage overlooking our gorgeous olive grove and grounds. This is a fully self contained cottage with over an acre of fenced garden for you to enjoy. We are also passionate animal lovers and welcome guests travelling with well behaved, house trained dogs who are welcome at the Cottage both inside and out by prior arrangement. Please note that pets are not allowed on the furniture and do please clean up after your doggie in the garden. The Cottage comprises two bedrooms ( one queen and one twin) decorated in French provincial style, each with their own en suite. The Cottage has been carefully decorated to feel stylish, homely and cosy and we take a great deal of personal pride in its presentation and cleanliness. There is a large open plan sitting / dining room with wood burning stove and reverse cycle air con for the warmer months. There is also a flat screen TV with Foxtel and aDVD player as well as a selection of games and DVDs to play. Guests can choose to cater for themselves in the large fully - equipped kitchen ( including large fridge freezer) or eat out at a host of award winning local wineries and restaurants. Price for two people is based on a couple sharing the queen bed. If additional beds are required, an extra charge will apply. We don’t generally charge a cleaning fee however an additional charge of $150 will apply if the Cottage is not left in a reasonably clean and tidy state on departure. Guest access Guests have full access to their own private self contained Cottage surrounded by over an acre of fenced gardens with a large deck overlooking the olive grove and local countryside. There is ample parking directly outside the Cottage and total privacy. Other things to note We have been welcoming guests to our Cottage for over 10 years. Now. We have many return visitors and consistently high visitor feedback as well as having been featured and recommended in The Age newspaper. PLEASE NOTE THAT MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS WILL VARY OVER THE CHRISTMAS AND JANUARY HOLIDAY PERIOD, EASTER AND OTHER LONG WEEKENDS. Please note that we are registered as required with the Mornington Shire Council who require guests to abide by the following code of conduct.: Short Stay Rental Accommodation Important visitor information Welcome to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, we sincerely hope you enjoy your stay. This property is registered under the Mornington Peninsula Shire Short Stay Rental Accommodation Local Law. Guests of this property must ensure they read and follow the requirements of the Code of Conduct during their stay. The Code of Conduct requires guests to: • Behave responsibly during your stay. Loud yelling, screaming, cheering and aggressive behaviour is NOT acceptable and may result in the early termination of your stay if a complaint is received by Council • No additional accommodation is permitted on site such as tents, caravans, campervans • Do not use outdoor areas for activity between 11.00 pm to 7.00 am • Place all waste into the bins provided prior to leaving • Park all vehicles within the property boundary. Occupant and visitor cars cannot be parked out on the street or on nature strip areas Please be mindful while enjoying your stay that surrounding neighbours live in this community and are entitled to peace and amenity in their residential area, thank you. A serious breach of the Code of Conduct may result in the termination of your rental agreement and require you to immediately vacate the property.
