The Cottage is located on a 100 acre working cattle farm with lush green pastures and Yarrawa Brush rainforest situated in heart of NSW's Southern Highlands . Separated from the rest of the property by a private road, the cottage is accessed through a 5 acre paddock, where our Angus steers and Hereford cows freely roam. Completely private, this comfortable cottage sits in an elevated position surrounded by established gardens with northerly views to the native rainforest. We have renovated the bathrooms to add a second family bathroom complete with shower, bath, toilet and underfloor heating. We have also added new carpet throughout and installed ceiling fans in each bedroom and a new comfy generous modular lounge in the lounge room. This adorable 4-bedroom cottage is accessed through our orchard and sits in a secure garden with country views from each of large picture windows. It comes with all the "mod cons" you need, including a wood burning fireplace and fully equipped kitchen, complete with Nespresso and all the essential equipment needed to whip up a delicious meal. The property has 4 private bedrooms, providing enough sleeping room for the whole family or a group of friends. Each bedroom is equipped with luxury fleece blankets, high quality linens, duvets and electric blankets for winter months and ceiling fans for summer. Large windows with fly-screens open onto the gardens complete with block-out blinds. Storage hooks and additional powerpoints are provided for guest convenience. There are heaters in each room (all 4 bedrooms, dining, lounge and family rooms). In winter, firelighters and matches, kindling paper and logs are provided. There are two bathrooms and a separate toilet. The main bathroom has been fully renovated with a full bath, generous shower and toilet. It has underfloor heating, heated towel rack and a marble vanity. The second bathroom has been recently updated with new fittings and consists of a shower (no bath tub or toilet ), double marble vanity and heated towel rail. A renovated separate toilet is located between these two bathrooms. There is abundant living space with large picture windows that overlooks the mature gardens. This has a generous modular sofa, wood burning fireplace as well as velvet armchairs for reading. There is also a separate TV room with bluetooth speaker, dvd player, dvds and games. The dining room has a generous 8-seater farmhouse dining table, which flows into the large, open kitchen, that is perfect for preparing meals. A covered alfresco dining area with BBQ area and mature trees overlooks the orchard. A separate laundry with washer and dryer is available for guest use just steps away from the cottage. Note there is a studio located next to the cottage which is private and will not be used whilst guests are staying in the cottage. Please note that Lilyview Cottage has a strict NO Smoking policy. No Smoking is permitted inside or outside the premises. Unfortunately we can't accept pets as we are a working farm with livestock. You may meet our friendly cattle in the paddock or naughty wombats that roam the property. We generally have good connection and will resolve any issues asap however this connor be guaranteed as we are in a remote location.
