Built in 1910, our home is affectionately known as "The Muldrow House” after its long-term residents, the Muldrows. We’re located within walking distance of the best that Historic Downtown Kennewick has to offer: shops, restaurants, bars, the farmer's market & so much more! This 1,800 sq. ft. house features quality craftsmanship from the early 1900s mixed with modern conveniences. Its a great place for families, couples, or solo travelers who love old houses! Explore both levels of beautiful woodwork, antique doorknobs and light switches, hardwood floors throughout and unique architectural details. Downstairs you'll find a comfortable living area, dining space for up to 10, a cozy master bedroom with a king size Nectar mattress and the bathroom featuring a clawfoot tub from the 1930s. Upstairs you can log in to your streaming services on a large flat screen smart television, take a shower in the three-head shower or play some games around the table. Relax on the front porch in one of our rocking chairs and enjoy the sights and sounds of Kennewick. Fiber internet is installed to ensure great internet connections throughout the house. The kitchen is stocked with appliances, pots/pans, server-ware, etc. Keyless access available for easy check-in. Parking is available on a cement pad in the back yard accessible through the back alley. (No garage or carport). Plenty of street parking is also available. The whole house is accessible to guests except for the upstairs balcony. Some of the basement is also used as a supply storage area, but guests may enter the basement to use the washer and dryer as needed. We live nearby and we're happy to help out with any needs you may have during your stay. Feel free to reach out any time! Some of the best local restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. Its also just a quick drive to local wineries, parks and all that the Tri-Cities area has to offer. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with many long-time residents, so we ask that our guests always be respectful of our great neighbors. There is also the sweetest grey cat, Boss, who lives across the street and loves to greet our guests, so keep an eye out for him! If he becomes bothersome at all, let us know and we can ask our neighbors to come pick him up. A main bus transfer stop is located just a couple blocks away and there is quick and easy access to both Highway 240 and 395. And just a 10 minute drive from I-82. There are some train tracks located a few blocks away and a whistle can be heard a couple times a day. Thanks to some sturdy storm windows not much sound makes it into the house. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate professional photography sessions at the Muldrow House at this time.
