Bella Retreat - Peace in the Forest

Located half way between Margaret River Town (5 mins drive) and the stunning Redgate Beach. Next to award-wining wineries, Xanadu, Voyager and Leeuwin Estate, Bella Retreat is nestled amongst gardens and 13 acres of beautiful jarrah and red-gum forest and is the ideal getaway. A rural retreat where guests instantly relax as the hustle and bustle of city life is replaced by native bird song. Guests can really get away from it all here, explore and discover or relax, recharge and reconnect. The space We have been lucky enough to host hundreds of families over the past years and very much look forward to welcoming our new guests and those valued guests who return to us each year! If you love the peace and tranquillity of a beautiful forest setting but love also to be centrally located then this is the property for you. Abundant wildlife (our native kangaroos can be viewed early mornings and sunset), endangered Black Cockatoos, stunning flora and and wildlife can be observed as you stroll through the surrounds. Conveniently located half way down Boodjidup Rd, we are only 5 mins drive from the township of Margaret River and 10 mins from Redgate Beach, Prevelly, Gnarabup and Margaret River Mouth. We are also surrounded by some of the best wineries in the region. There is so much to see in our area (see our Guidebook) Please note, our 'base price' includes 4 guests (2 x Queen bedrooms) only. Guests over this are charged $30 per bed (ie for each single bed over this) Bella Retreat is stylishly furnished, has beautifully comfortable beds and is perfect for those wishing to explore the Margaret River Region. We are happy to now be able to offer our guests super fast internet, Smart TV with Netflix is provided for you. Child friendly, we have a beautiful wooden play area complete with swings/slide an 'assault course', climbing frame and lots to do for the children! Have a game of Bocce on our court or a game of Giant Jenga on our porch. Toast marshmallows on our Pit Fire and have a glass of fine red watching the flames dance Seasonal, due to Shire of MR prescribed burn times. Dogs most welcome on approval from owner. Please note there are no ‘enclosed areas’. CLEANING: Due to the limited time available to service the home, we request that guests ensure the home is left clean and tidy. Additional charges will be made against the bond should the home require more than a basic clean. The BBQ must be cleaned by guests prior to departure. WOOD is provided free for guests. It has become very expensive! We respectfully ask that guests to not use our supply for the outdoor fire in the childrens playground (only to be used from May to October). You can source plenty of wood from the forest. Money will be deducted from you bond if you are seen to have not abided by this rule. Margaret River is a destination that truly offers something for every age, taste, budget or ambition. The region is most famous for its wineries that produce many fine white and red wines that are exported all over the world. The Margaret River flows through the centre of the region, passing the Margaret River Township that is 8km from the ocean. Although the area is named after this town, it spreads all the way along the coast from a few kilometres south of Busselton, out to Cape Naturaliste and the spreads over an area about 30km-wide down the south coast to Cape Leeuwin, Australia’s most south western point. Other things to note The tariff quoted on this site includes 4 guests (2 bedrooms). Extra guests are charged at $30 per person per night. Please note that if you are checking in on a Sunday, a surcharge of $100 will be incurred. Have a look at our "guidebook" on this site! WIFI Passwords are on noticeboard in kitchen of Bella Retreat. PETS We are Pet friendly however the property is not fenced. To ensure our house is well kept and maintained, dogs ARE NOT allowed on the furniture and on beds. Please make sure they do not wander on to our garden beds (no digging please!) We may require an additional fee for the extra cleaning time spent removing hair if this is not abided by. We kindly ask that you respect these rules, as additional fees will apply for any damages. And, of course, please pick up all dog poo. Thank you for your understanding!
