Stay in a bright 40 m² apartment on Rua de São Miguel, in the heart of Alfama. Original exposed timber beams, a comfortable living area, AC in the sleeping space and a traditional street setting give this home its character. It is a practical base for couples, solo travellers or small groups who want to explore Fado houses, viewpoints and historic Lisbon on foot. The space - Building & Access The apartment is located on the first floor of a traditional building, without an elevator. Access involves steep stairs, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility, very young children or heavy luggage. Rua de São Miguel is pedestrian-only directly outside the building. The nearest road with vehicle access is around a 2-minute walk away, followed by a short walk through Alfama’s narrow streets. - Living & Dining Area The living area includes a sofa bed, TV and dining table for four. Tall French doors bring natural light into the apartment and face the traditional street outside. - Sleeping Area The apartment has one double bed in an open sleeping area with air conditioning. Please note that this is not a fully separate enclosed bedroom. The bed is part of the apartment’s open-plan layout and is positioned near the kitchenette and bathroom. - Kitchenette The compact kitchenette is equipped with a mini-fridge, cooktop, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster for simple meals during your stay. - Bathroom The apartment has one bathroom with a shower. Please note that the bathroom is accessed from the sleeping area. A nearby bar may create street and nightlife noise, especially during evenings and weekends. - This apartment is not recommended for guests who are sensitive to noise or looking for a quiet residential area. - Nearby construction works are ongoing, with no confirmed completion date. Daytime construction noise may occur. - During June, Alfama is one of the main locations for Lisbon’s Santos Populares festivities. Expect music, street gatherings and increased noise until late. - Alfama’s streets are narrow, cobbled and hilly. As this is a historic residential neighbourhood, street activity and cleanliness can vary throughout the day. Due to its existence in front of the property's door, we do not recommend it to people sensitive to noise. ￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided. ￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in. ￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance. ￫ Check-in time starts at 14:00. Only one set of keys will be provided. ￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information. ￫ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys in the lockbox. ￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded.
