The apartment has a balcony that overlooks Augusta Street which is simply marvelous! Only one minute walk to subway. Just walk to the Castle, Santa Justa, Rossio, River Tagus! Subway Baixa-Chiado is just around the corner. The apartment has a suite, a living room of 50 m2 with kitchenette, a bathroom and an extra WC. The apartment in on the 4th floor, there’s no elevator in the building. In the living room there is a double sofa bed and a single bed that can be converted into two single beds, or in one double bed. There's also an extra mattress that you can put either on the bedroom or the sitting room. Guest access You'll have the entire apartment for yourself. Other things to note Rua Augusta is Lisbon's most known street, with shops, restaurants, lots of entertainment and no cars! It is the street of musicians, painters, street artists, shops, terraces... More central then Rua Augusta is impossible! Save time and money on taxi or public transports! It has the added advantage that one can go to the apartment during the day for lunch, take a break... and continue visiting or shopping in the afternoon. This apartment is very close to most places of interest: Tagus River, Rossio, Chiado, Commerce Square, Cathedral, Castle, Churches, Santa Justa Elevator, Carmo Convent, Alfama, Feira da Ladra (second hand market going on Tuesdays and Saturdays all day)... For nightlife, there are several restaurants at Rua Augusta and sorrounding streets. Rua Augusta has practical no night life, apart from the restaurants that close around midnight. This is in fact is very convenient and makes this one of the most quite areas in historic center during the night. For nightlife you have Bairro Alto; Cais do Sodré and Costa do Castelo.
