Guests need to request The Frida Room when booking. Viva La Frida! Port Albert is a quiet, peaceful and pretty historic fishing village 215kms from Melbourne. At Port Albert Waterview Retreat, you can relax on the front verandah and take in the panoramic views of the Nooramunga Marine and Coastal Park, and Wilson's Promontory in the distance. You will love the peace and quiet of this secluded, fully self-contained, three bedroom holiday house. The uninterrupted water views with Wilson's Prom in the distance are a feature of the house, and they can be enjoyed from the living room and two main bedrooms, as well as the front verandah. You can also view a wide variety of bird life on the waters of the Park, and the spectacular sunsets are not to be missed. Nestled in a quiet street on half an acre of garden and lawn, the house has accommodation for six. It is ideal for adult couples or a family, with two queen-size bedrooms and one bedroom with two single beds. There is plenty of room for storage in the built-in wardrobes and chest of drawers. We can supply portable cots (2) and high chair upon request. The brand new kitchen with stone countertops has everything - from a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, Smeg gas top/electric cooker, kettle, and toaster, through to cutlery, crockery, glassware, and saucepans as well as an Aldi brand coffee pod machine. The luxury bathroom has a freestanding bath tub ideal for a soak after a day's activities as well as a separate shower. The house has one inside toilet which is located off the laundry and one outside toilet located through the carport. The laundry has a tub and a washing machine and there is plenty of undercover clothes line as well as an outdoor clothes line. In winter, relax in front of the cosy Coonara wood-heater and soak up its warmth. There is a safety guard as required. Wood is supplied. For your entertainment, the living room also has plenty of books and games, as well as a smart TV, Free Wifi, Netflix, DVD player with a library of DVDs and a Bluetooth radio/CD player. Outside, you will find a hooded BBQ and outdoor furniture, room for 2 cars under the new carport, and plenty of room to park and turn your boat/s elsewhere on the property. The property is not fenced and is therefore not suitable for pets. Port Albert Waterview Retreat is just 400 metres from the Port Albert boat ramp. The Old Port Walking Trail passes the front door and leads to Stockyard Point and the wharf to the left, and to Seabank to the right. A Manager’s residence is on site and attached. Guest access Guests have access to the 3 bedroom home and the garden and grounds. Other things to note As the Retreat is a holiday house, you will need to bring your own food and provisions. Basic supplies are available at the Port Albert General Store and there are 2 supermarkets in Yarram, 12 kms away.
