Yamboon Park
Yamboon Park
A spectacular farm boasting some of the best views
Description
Yamboon Park sits in the middle of an award-winning farm and offers one of the most spectacular views in the Megalong Valley. The original part of the house, built by the earliest settlers, features thick pise (mud brick) walls, giving it a timeless, rustic charm. There’s plenty of space to explore, walk, or simply sit and take in the beauty of the valley. Please note that weather can make the grounds muddy, so we recommend sticking to the roads and main paths when moving around the property. The space The house is in two parts - one for living and dining (one of the queen bedrooms are also in this section) . The other for sleeping. The kids bunk room is in the old part of the house. There is a huge front lawn for kicking a footy or playing cricket. There are cows in the surrounding paddocks and of course Dams so please take great care of children at all times because this is the Aussie bush. The good part is that not far up the Road is MEGALONG Icelandic Horses and they have many of these beautiful creatures and offer riding lessons or horse experiences for children. Set on a hill the house has amazing views of the area and the Escarpment and allows you to enjoy the Australian landscape in comfort. Wake up to watch the morning mist roll over the mountain ridge. Enjoy a barbecue lunch on the sun drenched deck or wander down to the bush for a bush walk. The Gazebo for afternoon drinks is great BUT STRICTLY FOR ADULTS ONLY Guest access Yamboon Park is set on approximately 1400 acres.
