Offering prime fishing for Rainbow Trout and Largemouth Bass, it's an idyllic retreat in the Cascade foothills near Crystal Mountain and Mt. Rainier National Park. Perfect for activities like hiking, swimming, kayaking, jogging, hunting, fishing, biking, and skiing. The main floor features an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area, along with a ½ bath. A spacious covered wrap-around porch and built-in surround system enhance the main and basement levels. Comfortable seating, an 8-person dining table, and a TV grace the main floor. The daylight basement, with stained concrete floors, transforms into an entertainment haven with a pool table, sofa set, TV, and a distinctive wooden pub table. A full bath is also available. The second floor hosts a master bedroom with a full bath and jetted tub, a guest bedroom with a full bath, and queen beds with blackout curtains. The laundry area is conveniently located on the hallway. The third/top floor, featuring vaulted ceilings, serves as an office and a second guest room with two queen beds, accompanied by a full bath. Maintain an ideal climate with six mini splits for heating and cooling, three fireplaces (excluding the living room fireplace), portable heating fans, and ceiling fans. Please exercise caution on the steep driveway with switchbacks, especially in adverse weather conditions. Our kitchen features a glass-door refrigerator for your convenience. Additionally, there is a full-size refrigerator/freezer located in the garage, which is fully available for your use. This setup is designed to provide ample space for all your food storage needs. Please feel free to use both units during your stay. Internet and Phone Signal: Please note that our property is located in a rural area, where cell phone signal may be weak or unavailable for some carriers. We recently upgrade Wi-Fi via Starlink, the best available internet service in the area, to help keep you connected. However, occasional interruptions or slower speeds may occur due to the rural location. We recommend planning accordingly for any high-bandwidth or time-sensitive activities. Enjoy additional amenities, including two kayaks for the 12-acre fishing lake at 1500' elevation, along with provided life jackets. Note: Various pillows are available in the closet, and the living room fireplace is currently out of order. Guest access You are renting the entire house, so you will have complete privacy while you are there. The house is in a remote location and requires some attention to directions. the house entrance is on a private lake around road, when you pass the sign "END MAINTAINED COUNTRY ROAD", please continue around 15 meters, you'll see the house sign on the right. Other things to note The primary fishing opportunities in this lake are stocked Rainbow Trout and resident Largemouth Bass. The curvy mountain road up to the lake can be treacherous without 4WD in snowy conditions, in case you are visiting during winter months. Be prepared, and bring chains if necessary. The entire house heating and cooling is powered by mini splits, during cold weather, it could take longer to heat up the house, but we do have three fireplaces and some portable heating fans to use for additional heating We’ve recently upgraded to Starlink for internet access to improve connectivity. Please do not move the Starlink device, which is placed on the deck on the main floor — it needs to remain in its current position for the best signal. The detached shop is not part of the renting package. Please do not use it.
