It is a short drive (or bus ride) to the ski slopes of Mt Buffalo, Mt Hotham, and Falls Creek, for fun in the snow. Bright is terrific to visit all year round, with the autumn colours and huge poplar trees being a real attraction. Other attractions to this beautiful region include swimming in the cool waters of the Ovens in Summer, bush walking, paragliding, abseiling, fishing, or dining in quality restaurants and coffee shops.
