This secluded home in the mountains is surrounded by remnant forests and fragrant gardens - relax and recharge in the quiet of the bush. See wildlife up close. Fully self contained , suits couples, families or groups. Explore, hike, lots of games and family fun for no extra cost. The house features two large living areas, well-appointed country kitchen, three large air conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate games room with table tennis. Indoor and outdoor fireplaces. The space We have several walking tracks throughout the 70 hectare property. The trails cater to all levels of fitness. You can take a stroll through the bush along the old bullock track to a spring fed creek or for the more energetic - take a walk up to the top of the hill and see an amazing view of the valley of the Scenic Rim or hike up to the edge of Mount Chinghee National Park. Just 10 minutes away away is our main property on Christmas Creek. This property has deep swimming holes, toddler friendly rock pools and fishing spots. You are welcome to come over and picnic, swim or kayak along our 1.5 km of creek frontage. Guest access Beaumont is one of our two cattle properties. Here, we graze 80 to 100 head of quiet steers. We feed the cattle a bale of hay most days - you are welcome to come and help. We practice low stress cattle handling so the steers are calm and friendly and our impact on the environment is minimal. We rotate the cattle over three paddocks to reduce the amount of chemicals used on the herd by breaking the tick cycle, this also keeps a good coverage of grass over the whole farm and stops any erosion. Other things to note Queensland long weekends, Christmas and Easter Holidays have minumum stay limits. Pristine Christmas Creek is a couple of kilometres from the property. Great for a dip in one of the swimming holes then on for a coffee or lunch at Christmas Creek cafe. Lamington National Park and Mount Barney are only a few kilometres away. There are walks in the national park catering to all fitness levels. Same sex couples welcome
