Blackbird House is a delightful ‘home away from home’ in the heart of Martinborough, perfect for everyone - couples, family and friends. A three bedroom house on a private sunny sheltered corner section only one block to all that the Martinborough village has to offer - cafes, restaurants, bars and boutique shopping. The space We have an open plan living area. Our sectional sofa is perfect to spread out on with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The large dining room table is great for gathering round for meals or playing games. The bathroom facilities are; a large rain head shower in a separate room, a bathroom that has a spa bath, basin and toilet and a seperate toilet with a basin. Two of the bedrooms have also have basins - providing plenty of places for everyone to get ready for the day or evening out. Hot water is provided by an infinity water system ensuring that you will always have a continuous supply. The private section is fenced and, subject to a small charge ($30 per stay), we are happy to have your dog/s to stay. We ask that they stay off the furniture and beds and that it is not left inside the house unattended unless crated. For summer entertaining we have two outdoor tables and a bbq, and in winter there is a wood burner with a good supply of dry firewood to keep you warm and cosy. The kitchen has a dishwasher, large oven and fridge ensuring that should you decide to stay in for your meals everything is there for you. We love our coffee and the village has some great cafes but for your coffee enjoyment at the house we have a Moccamaster glass carafe coffee machine for your use. Plunger, instant coffee and tea are also provided together with some other kitchen basics. Free Wifi is also provided. For adventures further afield to the incredible vineyards, we have four bicycles (and helmets) plus two scooters. With the flat streets and roads it really is a wonderful way to take in the beauty of Martinborough. Blackbird House is an ideal place to stay in Martinborough to enjoy the village and region. Come stay. The base price is for up to 3 people . Additional people are $50 per person. A two night minimum stay is required. For School Holidays, Easter, Anzac, King’s Birthday Weekend, Matariki & Labour Weekend there is a minimum three night stay or a three night charge. For Toast Martinborough weekend there is also a minimum charge. For the Christmas/New Year period there is a minimum five night stay. For Martinborough Fair weekends there is a minimum charge - a two night stay for 4 people or a minimum two night charge for 4 people. A cleaning fee of $80 applies for each stay.
