Elysium Cottage is situated on a recently developed, 65 acre cattle property in Fitzroy Falls. The property is only a 15 minute drive from the 3 main Southern Highland town centres of Bowral, Moss Vale & Robertson. Elysium is a new, 56sqm. fully self-contained, 2 bedroom country retreat, overlooking the beautiful Fitzroy Falls Reservoir. Although positioned 20 metres from the main house, it offers privacy and tranquillity in a natural bush land setting. The space Elysium is owned by us - Allan and Noelaine Medforth. We began building and developing the property 7 years ago and although it's still a work in progress, it already has all the hallmarks of a truly amazing rural property. The main bedroom in Elysium Cottage has 1 Queen-size bed and large wardrobe. The second bedroom, although cosy has 2 King Single beds, small wardrobe & desk. The shared bathroom is sleek and modern with a small vanity/basin, shower and toilet. Elysium has an open-plan living area that includes a fully-equipped modern kitchen with dining for 4 guests, modular lounge seating and TV. Stylishly presented throughout while still offering a totally comfortable & relaxed environment. The private courtyard has BBQ facilities and outdoor dining. The living spaces, adjacent deck and courtyard areas have a lovely view of the lake & surrounding paddocks, where you can often see our resident kangaroos grazing. Located within a wildlife corridor, you can also see many Australian bird varieties in the garden. Elysium is a beautiful little cottage in a stunning setting and will be all you'd ever want in a peaceful country getaway. We are also very particular about maintaining Elysium Cottage to a high standard of cleanliness, particularly now during these challenging times. The cottage is thoroughly cleaned & sanitised after each guest visit including all bed linen. We allow ourselves 1 day in-between each booking in order to do this properly.
