Welcome to our off-the-grid "Glamp Camp" at Sweetwater Farm! Tucked away on the back of our 40 acre farm, this one-room cabin sleeps 2 people comfortably. Outside you'll find a private fire pit & charcoal grill, a shared outdoor kitchen pavilion w/ gas grill (stocked with cooking supplies) & an outdoor bathroom w/ a real flushing toilet, sink and outdoor shower. Access the Tooky River (great for swimming, kayaking and fishing) just steps away & enjoy plenty of space, privacy & beautiful scenery! You will be staying in a solar-powered, one-room cabin. The camp is equipped with a bluetooth sound system, ceiling fan and a queen size bed. The covered outside deck offers a quiet and peaceful set up - a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or favorite book. The river is just steps away, and it's a short walk to our outdoor common spaces (kitchen pavilion and bathroom). You can also drive right up to and park at your campsite **Please note that local ordinances require that we provide guest sleeping quarters, therefore, guests are not allowed to set up tents.** Guests will also have access to the shared kitchen pavilion with gas grill, and everything you need to cook a gourmet camp-side feast! As part of your glamping experience, you'll also have access to our outhouse, which has a real flushing toilet, cold-water sink and outdoor shower (with warm water). Guests are also able to enjoy the riverfront grounds and go kayaking, swimming and fishing (we rent kayaks and a canoe for $5/hr). There are also plenty of games, floats and a corn-hole set up for you to use in the shed. A true glamping experience! Yes, my wife and I spent a lot of time at the river yet we respect our guests time Our property is located in the heart of Henniker, NH, and about 20 miles from Concord, NH. Pat's Peak Mountain is just steps away, which is great for hiking during the warm seasons and skiing/snowboarding during the winter. Henniker's small town vibes are perfect for an escape to the country-side, while still providing everything you need to have a comfortable stay; shopping, dining, groceries, gas, etc can all be found right in town. The Glamp Camp is located on the back of our property and can be accessed via a dirt road. Vehicles that are not low to the ground definitely do best, but smaller cars can make it too, as long as you go slow and avoid a few bumps that come with the dirt road/camping experience! Parking is available right at your campsite. Sweetwater Farm has farm fresh eggs and USDA certified beef available for purchase onsite. Don't forget to pack: towels, bug spray, sunscreen, tiki oil (we provide the tiki torches), flashlights and charcoal (for your private grill). Looking for a different experience? We have additional sites available on the property including “a 4 person cabin and a recently renovated Farmhouse and a treehouse soon to come- just click on my profile to check it out!
