The entire ship is yours. An authentic 1890 sailing ship with seven bedrooms, twenty beds, a fully equipped kitchen and your own deck on the river Vecht. Fifteen minutes by train from Amsterdam Centraal. No reception, no shared spaces, no other guests on board. Just your group, the deck and the water. Please note: several historic ships are moored side by side here. The ship is exclusively yours, the jetty is shared. The space The 'Phoenix' is an authentic sailing ship from 1890 that we have restored into a full group accommodation. Seven separate bedrooms with twenty beds in total. Every bedroom has its own washbasin with hot and cold water. Bedrooms 1 to 3 have two single beds each; the remaining rooms are more compact. Have a look at the photos and the room layout so you know in advance where everyone sleeps. Two showers, two toilets, a spacious lounge, a cockpit and a fully equipped kitchen where you cook for yourselves. The deck is entirely yours. Barbecue at sunset, drinks until late, breakfast overlooking the water. In summer you can swim in the Vecht right beside the ship. Guest access The entire ship is exclusively yours: all seven bedrooms, the lounge, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the cockpit and the full deck. No one else comes on board. The ship is moored at a private site near Weesp where several historic ships lie side by side. You share the site and the jetty with the guests of those ships. Free parking on the public road nearby. Larger group? We also rent out the ship next door. Book both ships and you have room for up to 32 people, with the whole jetty to yourselves. Send us a message through Airbnb for details. Other things to note The mooring: please read this carefully. The ship itself is entirely yours, but the ships alongside often host other groups, just a few metres away. Inside you have full privacy; out on deck you're within sight and earshot of the neighbours. That's why we ask you not to play amplified music outside and to move indoors after midnight, exactly as the group next door does for you. If you're looking for complete seclusion, this isn't the right place. If you're looking for a ship of your own with a lively, maritime atmosphere around it, you'll feel right at home. Bed linen and towels: available to rent. You'll sleep on a clean bed with a mattress protector. If you'd rather not carry your own, you can rent a complete duvet set from us for €15 per person per stay and a towel set for €5 per person. There's no obligation: bringing your own sleeping bag or duvet and your own towels is always fine. Let us know what you need when you book and we'll have it ready. Payment is arranged through the Airbnb Resolution Center, so there's nothing to settle in cash on arrival. Bathrooms: 16 (+4 extra) beds, two showers, two toilets. At full occupancy that means a short wait in the morning. Children are very welcome, but the ship isn't childproofed and there's water all around. Supervision is the group's responsibility.
