The Pond House has 2 1/2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a huge living room-dining room, a sleek modern kitchen and walls of windows overlooking the the pond and prairies. The Pond House has 2 and 1/2 bedrooms, two full baths, huge living room-dining room with cool modern kitchen including all excellent appliances. The house has a green roof, but is super sunny and light with skylights multi doors and windows to the huge patio and to the pastoral view. In the winter, the toasty radiant heat in the stained concrete floors and the Rais fireplace make it hard to leave the house! Although sledding over the roof to the pond is a big attraction. And because the house is part of Tryon Farm, you will have access to walking and biking trails, bonfire circle, picnic area, fishing ponds, kid playground and treehouse, the tranquility of the countryside, and the convenience of a quick drive to a terrific super market, CVS and a host of restaurants in popular Harbor Country. For some the proximity of Lighthouse Mall is important, we are happy to be close to Lake Michigan harbors and beaches and the real lighthouse, all about five minutes away. Mostly our house is a super livable place in which one lives in comfort and beauty surrounded by pond, prairie, meadow and great quiet. Welcome!! Eve Noonan Other things to note Ed and I are long time midwesterners, raised our five kids in Evanston, now live in the South Loop which puts us close to Tryon Far. Tryon is the trend setting contemporary neighborhood we have built near Lake Michigan on a former dairy farm in Northern Indiana. You can see what we have built on the Tryon Farm website. As architect-designers and community fans, we have big interest in how places feel and how they work. We spend time with kids and grandkids, continue involvement in important causes, travel a bit and love spending time in our house at the Farm.
