Drink in the view of this world class ocean view hidey hole. The cottage is a spacious warm two bedroom cottage to recharge and relax. Hydrangea cottages offer a fabulous piece of paradise perched on a terrace with magnificent limestone formations and lush gardens. Fall asleep with the sound of the Tasman sea and wake to the sound of birdsong. Swim in the Punakaiki lagoon across the road, walk to Pancake rocks 450m and to nearby walks of Paparoa National Park. The space Funky 2 bedroom cottage with stunning sea views from lounge and bedrooms, the cottage comprises 2 separate bedrooms each with a queen and single bed. We have designed the house for the family or 4 or 5 or 2 couples ok to share the large tiled bathroom. The cottage faces west to capture the afternoon sun and sunsets in the evenings, there is a weber BBQ to cook on the deck and a kitchenette to cook and make use of the great views out to sea during you stay. We have used alot of native recycled Rimu timber and an eclectic mix of furniture to create a warm homely feel we hope you love. Wander down our drive, across to the stables and access the the lagoon and beach, the lagoon is glorious to swim an hour or so before and after high tide. Screens on lounge and bedroom doors and windows to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A perfect end to the Paparoa Great Walk or just to chill out for a few days taking in the gorgeous views and exploring the walks and beaches around Punakaiki. Guest access Our property has laundry facilities for guests to use. We can offer free car parking while on the Paparoa Track if you stay with us. Also bike storage available.
