The space Villa delle Rose is located in the small village of Leivi, 10 minutes drive from the railway station in Chiavari, on the Gulf of Tigullio, between the famous Cinque Terre and the village of Portofino. The Cinque Terre (Unesco World Heritage) is reachable by train from Chiavari in about 30 minutes. Boat trips are also available and will allow you to view the spectacular coastline of the Italian Riviera including the Benedectine Abbey of San Fruttuoso and the famous bay of Portofino. Pisa and Florence can easily be reached by car or train. Genova "La Superba" with the largest historical center of Europe, its famous Acquarium and the characteristic narrow streets, its wonderful Churches and the Palazzi dei Rolli (also UNESCO World Heritage Site) is only 30 minutes by train from Chiavari. Everywhere you can enjoy the famous pesto, the farinata, the focaccia anad an endless variety of land and sea specialities accompanied by local wines, both red and white, choosing between famous restaurants and small but delicious "trattorie" off the beaten paths. The apartment is located in a hillside villa with large gardens and olive groves. It has two terraces, one of which is furnished with tables and chairs for outside dining and a balcony with a small table, 2 chairs and loungers. It consists of a large bedroom with double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and desk plus an additional pull-out bed; a twin bedroom plus two additional pull-out beds. There is a lounge/dining room with table, chairs, sofas and cable Tv, Dvd player, HiFi as well as free unlimited access to the Internet. A kitchenette with Oven, Hob, Microwave,Fridge, freezer and kitchen utensils. A newly installed bathroom includes a double shower, toilet, bidet and wash hand basin.The garden, which is accessed by an entrance next to the apartment is available for guests with shared spaces with table tennis and table football and a seperate area reserved for guests (Gazebo) with table, chairs and loungers. From the gazebo, the view is spectacular. Two hammocks complete the furnishings of the garden. You will also have use of an additional fully equipedd kitchen and BBQ located by the garden terrace. There is plenty of secure open space around the house so young children and pets can always be safe. There is private off road parking in the shade.if you are keen cyclists and want to bring your own cycles or mountain-bikes there is a secure place where you can store them.
