Although perfectly safe, the driveway does require you to use first gear and concentrate when driving up. The villa is a 5–6 minute drive from Nai Harn beach, and a vehicle is recommended to access near-by shops and restaurants. Accommodation is comprised of five bedrooms split on two levels, all with en-suite bathrooms and roomy showers, two of which also have Jacuzzi baths. There is an additional standalone cloakroom including only a toilet and wash basin. The villa readily accommodates 12 people, with four of the five bedrooms having sliding doors that open onto private balconies, allowing you to fully appreciation the fantastic sea views. Three of these bedrooms offer king-sized beds, and one offers two large single beds (3.5'). The fifth bedroom, although not having a sea view, has a king-sized bed, TV and DVD player, it's own kitchen, and direct access onto the street. As you enter the villa you find the large main living room which leads directly onto the covered terrace where you can relax and swim in the infinity-edge swimming pool. Alternatively, you can dine on delicious Thai meals, that can be prepared in house at an extra charge, at the 8-seater dining table, or enjoy a relaxed BBQ. The villa is very close to Nai Harn beach, recently voted the best beach in Thailand by Trip Adviser, as well as Rawai beach, which offers restaurants, bars, nightlife, and a selection of boats for day trips to outlaying Islands. There are a number of delicious up-scale and relaxed restaurants within walking distance or short drive of the villa. The villa is a short driving distance to a selection or restaurants, shops and bars, and it is easy to get around using local transport. Nai Harn beach is within a 10-minute drive of the villa and is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. It not only offers golden sands and azure water, but a selection of restaurants, bars and local shops. Nai Harn beach is a spectacular pristine beach and is a perfect place to unwind, whether it be having a massage or sipping a refreshing beverage in one of the many restaurants that overlook it. It is an ideal spot for surfing at the end of the dry season and offers a perfect secluded bay for mooring yachts. There is an extensive range of both Thai and international restaurants locally along with many beach and viewpoint bars. People flock from all over Phuket to enjoy sundowners at Promthep Cape, the southern most tip of the island, which you can reach in a 10-minute drive from the villa. Many sporting enthusiasts come from all over the world to train at the local Muay Thai camp. Lessons can be taken on a half-day basis. At nearby villages, Rawai and Chalong, (which are a 10-15 minute drive away) you will find long tail and speedboats available, so you can visit any of the beautiful islands a short distance from Phuket. Phuket Island has a wide range of activities to keep guests of all ages entertained. Suggested activities locally include quad biking, golf, fishing trips, spa days, boat hire and horse riding. Additionally, activities such as seeing the elephants in their natural habitat at Phuket's Elephant Sanctuary and further distant boat and adventure trips can be arranged by our Tour Manager. Phuket is a beautiful destination to explore marine life and has many world-class dive sites. Diving excursions can be arranged through reputable dive companies, mainly located in Chalong. At nearby beaches situated across the Island, it is also possible to hire kayaks, take sailing lessons or go kite-surfing and parasailing. Excellent nightlife is not far away in the lively spots of Karon, Kata and Patong, which can all be reached in between 15 to 30 minutes. There are two major shopping malls in Phuket: Central festival is located in the centre of the island and Jungceylon in Patong. Both are large international shopping and entertainment centres with cinemas, restaurants, international and local shops. It is easy and safe to walk around the area, however transport can be arranged to take you up and down from the villa. Additionally, we can arrange taxis, motorbikes, scooters, bicycles and minivans, so getting around is easy. If you wish to make the most of seeing all of Phuket, the most comfortable way is in a private minivan that comes complete with a driver. The price is inclusive of gasoline with unlimited mileage. The minivan can be used for 14 hours a day (from 9am until 11pm) and the cost is 3,000THB (approximately 90 USD) per day. One can be arranged for you with 24-hours notice.
