The neighborhood has a low volume of traffic so you can hear the peaceful mountain sounds. Great place to stay when you come to cheer on the Appalachian Mountaineers! All of the basic cooking essentials are provided to fix a Gourmet meal along with comfy linens and towels. Free Wi-Fi throughout the house and a 72” TV in the living room. There is parking in the half circle driveway, but limited vehicles are suggested. In the winter months I would strongly suggest four wheel drive. This is also part of the Moses Cone National Park Service. Again, I strongly suggest 4WD in the winter months. There is public transportation which is the Apple Cart, Boone Taxi Service, Urber, and several car rentals, (Hertz, Budget, Avis, and Enterprise) and there is also an airport transportation company.
