Located on State Highway 1... 2 hours south of Taupo, 2 hours north of Wellington & 1 hour to Ohakune. Enjoy a wine on the deck looking out at the operating sheep and beef farm. Our restored shearers quarters are modern, warm, bright and comfortable. Double glazed, fireplace, insulated, infinity gas and beautifully decorated. We have free Wifi. ChromeCast on the TV. The space If you are looking for a break during this challenging time in our beautiful country then come and relax, stress free, at our cottage. Lots of space to walk, bike, run, you can cook for yourselves and isolate in the beautifully decorated cottage...on your own...you don’t need to see anyone and the cottage will be spotlessly clean for your arrival. The cottage is a cute wee cottage that has been fully restored into a modern space with gorgeous fittings, furnishings and design. If you require dinner then please ask. I love cooking and it is no problem to do this. I bring dinner and dessert over to you. I do a lot of cooking for guests. When booking then please ask and we can sort this out!! Covid-19 cancellation policy. For reservations made on or after 10th June 2022 our standard cancellation policies will apply. From this date we will no longer be offering credits or moving booking dates if guests cannot travel due to testing positive for COVID and self isolating. Guest numbers can be adjusted up until the date of arrival. Guest access An entire cottage plus you can go walking/biking over our 1200 acre farm with beautiful views! I have mapped the farm for walking and biking. There are several tracks that you can go over and follow the map. It can be as short as a stroll down the laneway or you can be out all day! We live just down the road from the Rangitira Golf Course...if you have a drink after a round then let me know and I can come and get you!! We live close to dozens of DOC walks, Mangaweka Adventure Company (white water rafting), 40 minutes to Feilding and the amazing Friday farmers market, and not to mention the Rangitikei River for walks, swimming and fly fishing!!
